I was so excited when the snow started falling the day we were supposed to photograph Alexis and Cody’s maternity session.  They had scheduled this session at least a month before.  What luck for me, that they were willing to brave the cold and snow for these amazingly beautiful portraits.  I’m so very happy and excited for them and their families…they’ve been waiting on this little bundle of joy for years.  Baby pictures sure to follow! 🙂 One happy lady here!

We’ve had a crazy winter of cold and warm but sadly not enough snow to even pull out the sleds.  Though the temps are freezing and the wind is blowing, it hasn’t stopped me and my clients from photographing in all of natures glory.  It just goes to show that you don’t have to wait til spring to schedule a beautiful session.  Just look at these images captured in January…

(You might be seeing his fall session soon too – gorgeous!)

Lucas 2018 Senior:

Welcome To The World Baby Salvatore…

This little guy couldn’t wait to meet his Mommy and Daddy…and I can’t blame him, they are two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.  Salvie arrived six weeks ahead of schedule, just as perfect as he could be.  I couldn’t wait to photograph him, we had so many ideas in store for his session.  During our consultation we discussed styles and themes, props and clothing.  When she said cowboy, my mind kind of went crazy, I loved all her ideas for her baby boy.

Finally when he was seven weeks old he made his modeling debut.  I was a little reluctant to photograph a newborn so late, preferably I like to have them in front of the camera before day ten, I really wasn’t sure how well he would do. Mom was so easygoing and reassured me that they would be happy with whatever they got.  He did absolutely amazing though – Mom and Dad had the house so cozy and warm, I think he could have easily slept all day.  :0)

Thank you for letting me capture your beautiful family and congratulations on the best gift you will ever receive!

It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year again to start thinking about Senior Portraits…it’s even harder to believe that my best friends daughter will be starting her final year of high school soon.  It honestly seems like just a couple of years ago we were the ones planning for our futures so excited to begin our grown up lives.

I have been photographing this little beauty since she was just a baby and now she has grown into such a beautiful young lady with a great personality to match.  Zane, I wish you all the best for your future.  This year will fly by and soon be just a memory.  Enjoy every moment big and small and prepare yourself to do great things.  It’s a wild, wonderful world…follow your heart and let the adventures unfold.
